Why Has Drugs Always Been Popular??

Y has drugs always been so popular?I have been an Addict since i was a teenager.When my father died & the family & i were traveling to bury his remains,i started to cry so hard & uncontrollable sobbing,my mom yelled at me to open my mouth,i just caught site of the colour of the pill before it was down my throat.I immediately started to cry uncontrollably for about team more mi nuts,then it slowly began to take effect & soon i was no longer in tears,but i was comfortably numb,I was no longer angry at GOD for taking my father,^ i wasn't angry with anyone!The world didn't seem so bad after all!!Well suffice it to say that started my 44 yr love affair with Mr. Valium.I was diagnosed with epilepsy as a kid & was always taking some kind of pill/s.My mom wasn't trying to turn me into an addict,she saw her oldest boy in severe mental anguish,& so did the appropriate thing.I liked the way the Valium made me feel,=relaxed & in control.No worry was too big,& if it was well ,let GOD handle it!I have made many a bad decision in my life,& if theres some kid out there thinking that a pill can solve all your problems,or a hit of coke will take the pain away,well it wont.& it just gets worse as time goes on.This is why we need top address the REASONS Behind the addictive behaviors!!Almost 98% of addicts are using to escape tragic events(death of loved ones)or memories of abuse(raped,molested as a child)We need to get at the reason or the triggers of an addict before we can begin to help them!Prison walls will just breed criminals,& most of these peoples will be coming back out into society.We need to put more funding into mental health care,& treatment facility's.As a PHA living in sud bury,we have hundreds of HIV+ persons,not to mention all those getting treatment for cancer as we have the cancer centre,THEN WHY DO WE HAVE TO SNEAK AROUND LIKE CRIMINALS JUST SO WE CAN EAT NORMA LY!!just SO WE CAN EASE OUR NA SEA!just SO WE CAN KEEP UP OUR WEIGHT!just SO WE CAN HAVE A NORMAL LIFE,WITHOUT PAIN OR AS LITTLE PAIN AS POSSIBLE.if SMOKING POT HELPS IN THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR PERSONS THAT ARE SLOWLY DYEING,isn"t IT OUR DUTY TO HELP THEM??am I MY BROTHERS KEEPER??yes I AM!PEACE N LOVE NOT WARS N WALLS EH FOLKS~!

So today was nice & i hear theres going to be meteor shower tonight!!

I plan to check it out in awhile as its almost 11 with the peak coming at 2 am,only hrs away now & we should see a great show folks!Am way syched out!!reminds me of "& you shall see wonders in the heavens" out of The Holy Bible, something about signs of the end times,last days....or the Big showdown!!

Diana,Gone but Not Forgotten

So as i am sitting watching Diana,Last days of a Princess,i am bloggin away about my life & wats been & not been happining in it as of late.My life is boring now,or what life i have left to call a life.But i am alive,Thank GOD!I watch her car crumple & her life slips away,& she's gone!A wrong choice?Press overkill?The result is the same,a precious life cut short before her time,a person so loving & giving of herself.She did so much for so many,& gave so much of herself to charitys & other good,rightous causes.She will remain a hero for me,someone that i will miss ,a person that made this earth a better place when she was here,her loss is felt by millions of her fans such as i,a canadian guy living with HIV trying to do the best i can with what i got,& that's not alot these days.I am Clean!!Almost Serene!!hey folks ya just gotta know i couldn't leave a blog with out tellin ya'all to get Tested for STD's A.S.A.P. Living with HIV,& Not Dyeing of Aids

Huge difference here folks!Now i am in the best shape i have ever been in,& have been clean for 3 years off of coke.Methadone has made it possable for me to have a normal life again-well almost normal!I got a check in the mail in my name ,took to the bank manager & asked him to cheque the check.Trial is dec 6 & i am out on bail.I thought i did the right thing,guess not,or we'll find out soon enough.Summer speeding by so fast as we are already at the end of summer & it wont be long now before the first snow flies!Asif,its only august so easy on the snow stuff already eh~so ya fall is my favorite time of year~& am looking forward to seeing the forest change again.Living with HIV usually means taking meds,alot of pills,to keep your viral Load down as low as possable,thereby extending your life as your immune sytem lasts longer.I am NOT on these meds yet as the Drs say i am too healthy,with my cd4's at 890 & my viral load at 3,000 i am not sure if this is right & my VL should be down to non-detectable.The higher it is the faster your body is being defeated & the faster the end will be ,or the faster you will die . It becomes a way living healthy ,eating healthy ,excercising & being spiritually active as well .the trick is tieing all these together to seek a harmonious lifestyle & outlook . Mind ,body, & spirit combining these to make up You & its how you react to lifes situations that defines you as a person . & It can all change in an instant of time.So,choose wisely ,after much thought & even more deliberation ,on which way you choose to travel.GODBLESS & have a good day folks ~! Living with HIV isn't so bad if you don't mind the stigma,& can deal with the pain.Once you overcome those,& all the self doubt that comes along with it,you can start to look at life at a totally different viewpoint.Step back & listen to whats happining on your planet,in your world.
